DIRECTIONS
BY FOOT, from the Boat Float (the little square harbour in the centre of town)/main bus stop/passenger ferry pontoon: cross to the northwest corner of the Boat Float by the NatWest Bank. Walk west down Duke Street, past the overhanging Butterwalk. Continue in a westerly direction. After about 150m the road will widen as it reaches the Market Square. Carry straight on keeping the Market building on your right. You will find us on the other side of the road, next to a Spar shop.
PARKING: While we don’t have car parking, there is free unlimited parking in and around the Market Square directly opposite (but not in the yellow parking bays on Tuesdays and Fridays, when you will find your car surrounded by market stalls) and two hour street parking in Victoria Road. From Easter a Park And Ride service operates from the top of town on the Totnes road to the Boat Float.
BUSES: The First 93 from Plymouth (a splendid trip, especially from the top deck) and the Stagecoach 110/111/112 from Torquay via Totnes both pass the door, ask for the Market Square stop.
BOAT & TRAIN: Riverlink operate the Paignton to Kingswear Steam Railway, the passenger ferry from Kingswear to Dartmouth and the Totnes to Dartmouth river cruises. Boats land at the Town pontoon - see “By Foot” above.
